Graduation Ceremony Information for Seniors

Graduation will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 7, for seniors walking with Will C. Wood High school, and at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, for seniors walking with Vaca High. Both ceremonies take place at Zunino Stadium on the Vaca High campus. Please read the attached letters for details on rehearsal dates, dress code, and more.

Welcome

Welcome to Vacaville Unified School District's Independent Study Program (ISP). By enrolling in Independent Study, you have chosen to participate in a unique and innovative learning option.

Independent Study’s distinctive learning process allows students, parents/guardians, and the school to work collaboratively to meet the educational needs of individual students. Our goal is to encourage all students to realize their potential and challenge them to become actively engaged in their education, demonstrating valued skills that contribute positively to society.

Orientation dates for 2012-13

  • Wednesday, December 19, at 1:00 p.m
  • Thursday, January 10, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 31, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, February 28, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 28, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday April 25, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Orientation is held in the Multi-Purpose Room at Elm School at 129 Elm Street. Orientation is provided to students who have been accepted into ISP. Students who would like to enroll in ISP must get a referral from their school of residence before applying for ISP. Attendance at orientation is mandatory for all ISP students.

Testing Center and Textbook Hours

Testing Center Hours
Monday: 10a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
*Thursday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Test Center Phone: 707-453-2181

*Once a month the Test Center closes at 3:30.

Textbooks Hours:

Text books are available to be picked up in Room #21 Monday thru Friday during the hours of 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
