Welcome to Vacaville Unified School District's Independent Study Program (ISP). By enrolling in Independent Study, you have chosen to participate in a unique and innovative learning option.

Independent Study’s distinctive learning process allows students, parents/guardians, and the school to work collaboratively to meet the educational needs of individual students. Our goal is to encourage all students to realize their potential and challenge them to become actively engaged in their education, demonstrating valued skills that contribute positively to society. The last day for all students to test in the Test Center for the 2011-2012 school year will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

The Test Center will be closed to all students starting May 31st, 2012 for grading. No testing will be done after the 30th.

IMPORTANT: End of the Year Textbook Information:

All students enrolled in the Independent Study Program during the 2011-2012 school year need to return their books to Room #21 by the end of the school year. These books are considered property of Vacaville Unified School District. If books are not returned it is condisered a debt to the district and is recorded under your student's permanent record until the items are returned or paid for.

Seniors: who will be graduating from Will C. Wood High School or Vacaville High School in June must have all ISP textbooks returned to room #21 by Friday, June 1, 2012.  All textbook items and possible debts will need to be cleared in order for a diploma to be received from your school of residence.  Please return all textbooks in a timely manner in order to ensure you receive your diploma at your commencement cermony.

All other ISP student must have their textbooks returned no later than Thursday, June 7th by 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, June 5th -         10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday, June 6th -   2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday, June 7th -       2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Friday, June 8th -             CLOSED
